My favourite brand of guitar strings and seeing as 10-46 are my favourite gauge for E standard, I wanted to give these a try as well for my bass, seeing as lighter strings were feeling quite off.
Ernie Ball strings are well made, they sound good and last for at least 2-3 months of regular playing.
Seeing as most of my guitars are equipped with a Floyd Rose bridge (or other tremolo system) I rarely have the desire to experiment with other strings, yet I don't really see the need to. This set of bass strings is actually for my first bass guitar, so I can't tell how long they will last, yet right now they sound amazing. The only "issue" is that these are somewhat high-tension for E Standard and i really had to push my truss rod on a Squier Affinity PJ Bass to the limit. But I really wanted strings stiffer than Fender 45's.
As of now, great strings and I would recommend them to anyone.
