This is an excellent product and fits my Les Paul like a glove. The case is light and well made and all the catches (5) feel solid and robust. The interior is in an all black 'faux' fur finish and there is a useful lidded storage section which can take a decent size strap. The exterior is in a smooth black 'tolex' type finish with the all important 'G' word on the lid. One slight issue is where the handle is fitted to the case which makes the case slightly 'back end' heavy when the guitar is inside, but the handle seems robust and fit for purpose, so just a minor issue. Overall very happy with the purchase and also with the service from Thomann which, as usual, was excellent.

How could I live without it?

Case is nice, fits Les Paul perfectly, survived many dings here and dongs there. The problem with it is its heavyness but I guess that's what you expect when you're going in for hardshell case. I was looking for a grownup case for a grownup guitar and I got exactly what I wanted.

Great case, solid construction from Gibson. I had mine stolen from a gig and this is the perfect replacement. Thomann's service is exceptional and my parcel arrived within 2 days to the uk with a Saturday delivery. Very easy to track your order also. I Couldn't recommend the company highly enough. Great stuff!

Replacement for my '91 LP Standard

My original case got destroyed in one of the funkier bars I was gigging in and I needed a replacement. The cost of an original LP case or even a "Gibson Gear" case was, to my mind, way too much. So when I saw a good quality Gibson Gear case on the Thomann website at a really affordable price, it was a no-brainer. Good quality, good handling and a great price.
