Aquarian 18" Reflector

Aquarian Heads are not a well known make but they are ebery bot as good as Remo/Evans. For me they are better; better made, longer lasting and the sound is outstanding. I'm a professional of over 40 years and only discovered Aquarian by chance! Having done so, within a couple of months most of my snares and all of my two big kits (each with 7 drums) are 100% Aquarian and recording and sounding better than ever. My personal choice are the relatively new Refector Ice White heads. I got this 18" for one of my 18" floor toms to compare the standard black Reflector head with the Ice White. The black Reflector sounded great; big, deep and dark but by a small margin I prefered the Ice White. The other Aquarian heads I love are the Deep Vintage 2 heads; close enough to real calf heads but with the massive advantage of not actually being calf.
