I buy these strings now as standard strings to go on all of my acoustic guitars. They are not too expensive and provide a descent tone and feel. These D'Addario strings are not highly prone to corrosion compared to some other similarly priced alternatives, which makes them a good choice for me, as my skin is rather acidic. Due to this they also keep the good tone for a longer time.
These strings broke only twice since I've used them, but it was the problem with the tuning peg most probably, so I would say they are quite durable.
Overall, they are a good choice if you want a descent tone for not too much money.
