Real nice light strings

All my bass playing life I have used medium-heavy string gauges. I liked the fatness of the sound that they give and how they feel under my fingers. The gauge of these strings is among the lightest you can get here on Thomann so I said why not give them a shot and see how I like them. I am glad I did.

The strings are so swift and easy to play compared to what I'm used to, that I wished I had used light gauges all along. I was afraid they would sound too 'twangy' - they do sound twangy but not in a bad way. I put these on my Jaguar and popping/playing the strings hard gives a really nice snappy sound. The higher frets seem a lot less sharp sounding than they used to, and my ability to bend has improved a lot.

I have since used other brands at this gauge to compare and the Daddario's seem to be light and easy to play without losing out on any fatness

Very good strings. They keep sounding as new. This is something good of daddario strings. Also i like there's a lot of info in the package. It may seem silly but others don't show as clearly what they are.

The perfect Bass string set

this is my all-time favourite set of strings for my bass.
It has an awesome price-quality-durability-sound ratio.
I usually buy a pack of 10 and it lasts me a whole year (I often record music in the studio)

Great bass strings

These are the regular strings i buy for my bass.

The sound is nice and loud and the strings sound good for a long time after they are put on the bass. They last a very long time as i gig regularly and find they are very durable.

I have tested other brands but keep going back to Daddario EXL220
