I'm no expert or connesieur (does it spell that way?), just a hobby player since 40 years. There probably are better strings out there, or just as good ones for a better price but over the years it's been the Daddario XLs I always have been coming back to. They are like your old mate that you always can rely on. I have never ever had a bad sample of theese. For those of you that have not tried them yet, they are smooth to your fingers and easy on your frets. They are not too bright, just so right. Lasts long too if you are not a zzzing-addict.
