It's expensive but you pay for what you get and in this case you'll get extremely high quality drum throne. I was looking for something way better than my Tama 1st Chair (motorcycle seat with backrest) that started to make horrible squeaking noise after several years.
This DW is a amazing. Air lift is superb and the whole seat rotates without a sound. It's super comfortable and I am so glad that I decided to upgrade to this one. Vegan leather is also very good, seat is soft and feels like you sit on some memory foam type of seat, it's perfectly designed. This DW feels crazy comfortable! It's worth that high price. It's also big and heavy - if you need to carry around it a lot - you will stay fit!

Could be a bit more comfortable

This is a lot better than the rank and file drum thrones, but after an hour it too becomes a little uncomfortable. I am a bit more sensitive to discomfort than most, so would probably be ok for most drummers.
It does look fantastic and with the backrest on it does get a lot of comments.
I do feel it was expensive but with having the four legs it is very stable and should last a long time

This is the best stool ever. I playing drums about 13 hours and i am not tired. Very comfortable stool :)

Top für Drummer "mit Rücken"

Ich hatte vor vier Jahren einen heftigen Bandscheibevorfall (sogar während eines Gigs) und konnte kaum Laufen oder Sitzen und 7 Monate keinen Sport machen. Ich dachte, ich könnte nie wieder länger als 15 Minuten sitzen und Schlagzeug spielen. Mittlerweile ist alles wieder "bene", aber die Empfehlung diesen gefederten Hocker zu testen und gegen meinen alten auszutauschen, war Gold wert. Man sitzt selbst in langen Probe-Session super bequem und rückenfreundlich und ich hatte noch nie Beschwerden durch das Sitzen auf dem DW Hocker. Somit vor allem für Drummer mit Rückenproblemen, das Non-Plus-Ultra!
