Really pleased with the guitar. The 3 way switch is all it needs! The pos'n1 gives a good articulate warm acoustic sound, with good tonal variation on the second knob. The mid pos'n2 gives a good plastic back acoustic sound - in the driven position (2nd knob clockwise) it gives me a perfect drive tone for leads. The 3rd pos'n I find is less warm & inspiring but I tend to use that less anyway.
One problem I did encounter was when using my "pod" radios (Xvive) - in the 3rd electro-mag pos'n with drive (2nd knob fully clockwise) there is an audible high pitched interference. I discussed this with Thomann who were very cooperative (as usual) and sent me a 30cm m/jack-f/jack extension lead to isolate the radio away from the high gain preamp in the guitar. Thankfully this solved the problem, abeit the need for a 30cm tail dangling off the guitar (or in yr pocket or strap).
I had to dress the fret ends - hence deleted a star for quality.
Otherwise I love the lightness of the guitar, acoustic playability unplugged. Would I like to see anything more? - maybe an extra gain control, but really if you need more - thats what pedals are for. I do enjoy the simplicity of the guitar, and fed into a PA/mixer it gives a good enough selection of tones for a night out without extra pedals & clutter. Well recommended & very pick-up-able!.
