Fender Body Alder Strat VIN BR BLK

For my partcaster build I choce a genuine Fender body in black to pair with the Fender AM. Perf. RW neck. Out of the well protected box was a thing of pure beauty! A very lusterous black gloss finish with no imperfections. None.
The routing has bee done very well and there are no rough finishes to be seen. The neck pocket is flat and flawless. All holes are pre-drilled except for the pickguard screws (allowing you to fitany type). Even the strap button holes have been pilot drilled, making life that much easier, especially when trying to drill the hole for the button on the horn.
Looking into the routing pockets shows a very nice quality timber. With the solid colour, it is impossible to see how many pieces have been used - but obviously the bonding is very tight. Weight wise, it is more substantial than I thought it would be - so should produce a good sustain and tone, although I don't think it will be too heavy in use. Certainly not LP weight (thank god!). I am very pleased with this purchase. Value is fantastic and nice to see an official body correctly numbered and signed off by quality control. I won't want to relic this or 'ding' it for sure!
