Overall it is very solid equipment. You can see and sens right out of the box that materials used are highest quality. No issues with chassis, knobs, switches and screws. No loose or suspicious parts.
The Power Station pushed me into home recording as apart of making my beast amps silent, I have started to use silent recording feature. I am mentioning it to point out outstanding quality of loadbox feature.
Of course main reason for buying PS-2A is to attenuate powerful tube amp. I am using this feature for my ripping 100 Watt Marshalls with 4x12 1960 cabinet. For my JVM410H, JCM 2000 TSL and DSL I cannot hear any tone difference between raw amp sound and attenuated amp. I even do not have to adjust anything with Warm and Brite switches.
To sum up if you are wondering if all positive info about Power Station are just marketing gimmick, they are NOT. The PS-2A really decrease volume of amplifier without losing its tone.
Also it makes home recording easy pie as via silent recording option you can take clear amp signal without anything else that mic would pick up.
I really cannot figure out any flaws of this product.
