Gewa Air 2.1 Violincase 4/4 BK/SH

I have had too many cases to count over the years, but this case is finally THE ONE! It is extremely lightweight, beautiful, and practical. The removable accessory bag is very handy during rehearsals since it can be discreetly tucked under your chair if you need anything. The exterior music pocket is also helpful since I use it to throw in extra items (gum, passport, strings, etc...) as well as music. (So nice if I'm in a hurry and I don't want to open the case). I wasn't sure about the movable shoulder rest restraints, but they've turned out to be super convenient when I've needed to bring a different shoulder rest or have needed more space around my violin's scroll. I tend to carry a lot of extras with me, and this case holds it all! Most importantly, the case seems designed to keep my violin and bows safe. The violin is suspended snugly within the case, and the bow holders snap reassuringly with the frogs resting over the accessory bag as opposed to my violin. This is a very well-thought-out case. It is also sleek and beautiful. It will scratch, but a swipe with an alcohol wipe will usually eliminate any scuffs. Finally, Thomann's customer service, delivery time, and price are the best!
