I bought this to replace a once again lose normal tele style cup, this design is a much better idea with the socket fitting nicely into the hole the old one left behind.
The best part of this design is the way your jack socket gets screwed into the socket this makes it very unlikely to come lose again once you have tighted up the jack to the sockets threaded hole. Be sure to check what size your jack is and that it will match the socket hole.
Ive had a few of these type of sockets and all of them have been very solid to use and none of them have shown any sign of them coming lose. For the easy installation once you have screwed the socket onto the jack then you simply line up the screws so they aim across the body and not to the front and back of the body. Drill 2 pilot holes screw the socket on and you will have no trouble again.
very disappointed that it doesn't fit switchcraft plugs thread. had to drill it out to get it to fit. works fine for alpha type thread. should be stated in the description
One of two changes on my Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster 50's

I definitiv love my Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster 50's. But the original socket is a pain in the neck. It got loose after a couple of days playing this instrument. Because that is a well known problem with telecasters, not only with the Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster 50's. So I decided to order the Göldo JTS1C TL-Electro Socket and change the socket by myself instead of sending my telecaster in in order to have it fixed for me.
I received the product from Thomann very fast. That is one of the things I really love at Thomann. They are really as fast as possible!
Changing the sockets was no problem at all. It took my less than five minutes. Now it fits perfectly and I am very satisfied.
The other change at the instrument was to change the strap knobs. I've got some Schaller Security Locks C. Now everything is fine.
If it fits your tele it's a very good quality Jack cup , I prefer it over the more traditional with the claws because its easier to replace the output Jack, I won't get loose and it won't damage the inside rooting of your guitar
I got this as a replacement for the poorly designed jack socket/cup on the Squier CV50 P-bass. I wasn't a perfect fit for the routing on the Squier but close enough. It stayed firmly attached once the screws were tightened and I've had no problems since.
Best system for a Telecaster jack socket, the traditional system is not very smart and this system with screws guarantees that your jack will not get loose again.
Had a lot of issues with a Squier tele jack. This one solved it. Just take out the internal metal plate holder of the socket of the guitar and then drill it in and its good to go.
I bought a few of these so I could fit them into my pedalboard.
The Kluson Jack Socket is the one you should buy if you want to use this one.
The switchcraft plugs won't fit. I'm very happy with them!
Perfect fit. Perfectly matches the other hardware (Kluson Bridge and control plate). Screw thread is also a perfect fit to the jack socket on my Japanese made Telecaster. I was quite expecting to have to change the socket, but not needed. Looks like it belongs to the guitar more than the original !
