i have an epiphone lp which would not stay in tune we did the usual checks nut binding etc. the bridge unit was the the problem here theold one had a wire on it saddles were moving out slightly every time you would play the new gotoh was fitted no comparison it just sorted the problem it was as simple as that
Bought to replace a spring type one on a Peerless Songbird. The post distance fits perfectly, you will need to file the slots to fit your string gauge.
The quality is fine and a bit better than the spring style ones. It also is a bit longer in saddle adjustment so helpful if your guitar has intonation issues. The price is cheap for a Japanese made item although for all I know it could be made elsewhere under license for Gotoh.
Finally the Thomann pictures shows the nuts look rough but this is not the case on the bridge I received. It will fit a Casino as well.
I ordered this to replace my old tune-o-matic bridge on my 90's Korean Hamer Archtop which was very worn. I am really satisfied with this bridge, it was just what I needed! It looks really good and the quality is amazing for the price!
It gave my guitar a new life! I can't find anything negative to say about this product. I really recommend this if you want to replace your old tune-o-matic bridge for a cheaper price!
This is a beautifully made piece of metal. I used it on a Firebird style guitar to replace a poorly made far east made one. The saddles are very hard, though, which makes filling the string slots difficult. (The string locations only have shallow slots which need deepening & widening for the wound strings).
