As a complete beginner banjoist, I picked up a set of these alongside a set of Dunlop metal fingerpicks. This review will compare my experiences with both.
If you browse the reviews on this set, you will see everyone thinks their hands are average size. Lol. I'm more honest with myself - mine are small, and the fingerpicks fit me just right, while the thumbpick was a little loose. You won't find out if they'll fit you from these reviews, since everyone's hands are different. The shape can be adjusted a bit by dipping them in boiling water first.
In comparison, metal picks are easily adjustable with a pair of pliers.
The plastic is smooth, pleasant to the touch, and quite pretty. It doesn't click or scrape against metal strings like metal picks do, and the sound ends up being cleaner and softer, which I prefer.
Unfortunately, 1mm thickness made them unwieldy to use, especially as a beginner. They would be great if they were half as thick, like the metal ones, and that's what I will be looking for in my next set. This may not be a problem with guitar, where strings have more space between them.
Overall - well made, may or may not suit you depending on your personal preferences.
If you give them a try, and if they don't suit you, you can always give them to some kid to use as magical shiny claws.
