You will not get better Jazzmaster under 400$. It's unbelievable how good guitar this is. The colour is gorgeous! It's much more brighter than on photos, and the glitter is so charming that you won't be able to look away.
It's factory setup was pretty good. About 2.3mm on 12 fret on the 6'th string. I have not tried to change it yet, but from what I saw it won't be hard to work on that.
Sound is fantastic. It's much more better and deeper from a Vintage v65 or Squier Jazzmaster that I player, and yet it's still cheaper. I wouldn't be suprised if Thomann/Harley Benton were losing money with every sold piece.
I've checked this guitar inch by inch, and still I was only able to find minor flaws, like: a small piece of crude neck (it has a little bit more texture that It's supposed to have) only on one side, stained strings (that's kind off interesting), neck plate is covered in micro stains.
This guitar has a real potential. The fret work is legendary, not a singe sharp edge. Strings slide without any (ANY!!!!) problems, it's just like they slide on their own.
