On first firing this up and going through the reverbs and settings and what have you I thought I would be sending this straight back. The Anny 10 is going to frustrate some people primarily because it doesn't seem to do anything with excellence. It doesn't seem to get that loud, the reverbs are very ordinary to just ok and the bass doesn't go that low. I have persevered with it though and on taking it out for a bit of street action yesterday I now profess to quite liking it. Do bear in mind that as I mentioned it does not seem to go that loud on it's own so I took out my fantastically handy Joyo Momix Pro battery mixer and with that I could get a more suitable output. It could be used without but it has more flexibility and punch with it I think. It's a lump yes but I knew that before I bought it. It does have a warmish big boned sort of sound though so it does suit my kind of music which is mainly swing backing tracks and what have you. I think that lower register figure of 45hz is wishful thinking. Songs that I know well that have bass within that region have whole notes missing and low kick is starved of a lot of energy. Bass around 65hz and higher is fine with plenty of output but if you want it for hip hop or reggae etc. I would say look elsewhere. I don't think LD have a hit on their hands but I could be wrong. You have to eq it as it is a bit prominent in the midrange a bit treble shy and that bass lacks authority. I am talking about the speaker on a pole mount mind you. Stick it on the floor and the bass fattens up like a mother.
My main need from it is mobility and quickness of set up which it fulfils admirably. The cover is great by the way and is a must get I reckon. Bluetooth is very good, no stupid status voices and the like and the knobs and switches knob and switch with aplomb. Handles are very awkward when picking up. I think they are designed in that way for clean lines or some such but it does mean putting this lump on a stand means you really need to put your brain in gear and focus on what you're doing. No channel eq is a bit of a shame and like someone posited in a review maybe a software upgrade fairy will grant our wish for more of everything. Beyond 11 please.
Yeah Anny 10 you definitely are a Marmite kind of thang!
