Good but too long for me!

I bought this strap because of other very positive reviews and the stretch feature made me really nosy!
I looked at the Levys Website to get the exact length because a lot of straps are to long for me due to the fact that I like my guitar at the exact same high how it is when I'm playing in a sitting position. Well the strap was a few centimeters shorter than I need it on the paper but when it arrived it was longer and due to the streching it went even longer. So for me the minimum length was 12 centimiters to long. A no-go for my taste so I had to send i back.
The quality of the strap is good and the stretch feature is nice but I prefer having my guitar in a very stable position with a thick leather strap.
The Strech Strap feels like a normal nylon strap, little bit more comfy but nothing close to a leather strap for my taste.

2 points in total for the wrong length and price, the rest ist quite okay.

An alternative type of guitar strap

I almost feel bad lumbering this strap with a 3* rating. The reason being that it isn't a bad product. It's well made, actually of pretty high quality.

The problem I had is that I just couldn't get used to a strap that has so much give. The elasticated nature of the strap just means that the guitar has more room to manoeuvre than I'm used to and I personally found it unnatural.

But...

That is a very subjective opinion. For some that will be exactly what they want and if that's you then I'd say you'd be very pleased with this strap.

In fact, I've just talked myself into upgrading my rating from 3* to 4*. It is, after all, a good product, even if it isn't quite to my taste.

A friend of mine told me to check this strech strap.
I bought it 2 days later and i cant believe it.
The Strap is so awesome!
It has a great comfort!
Its worth every single pennie, and i'll use them for every guitar !
Buy it ! :-)

Levys No.1 Stretch Strap

I´m a little uncertain with this rating.
The quality is superb.
My bass seems a lot lighter with this. - thats what I wanted.
But unfortunately its too short for me...
I like my instrument a little lower than my belt buckle.
