"The must" for enthusiasts of renaissance music with lower budget.
Easier baroque fingering with double twin holes for lowest notes,
huge folk-flute like like bore with open folk-ish sound :)
Looks beautiful, as well - easily blends in look & sound with any "modern pitch" renaissance consort.
If You find another "typical" baroque wooden recorder boring, this one is grat addition to Your collection.
Comparing to "generic" recorder - large finger-holes give space for more expression / pitch modulation, and bigger opportunity to mistakes as well.
If Your budget is higher the one in plum is said to be even more distinct in sound.
If this one is a bit too expensive - the Waldorf Edition Alto from the same manufacturer looks different but gives similar advantages and challenges in sound production.
I got both ;)
