Revision einer 99'er American Vintage...

Geplanter Austausch der ganzen Elektronik, nur meine PU`s standen nicht zur Debatte. Deshalb schieden für mich die vor verlöteten Fender-Pickguards aus.

Ich musste nur noch entscheiden, ob ich das ST 7 oder ST 5 einbaue.

Der Einbau des ST 7 war ohne Holzarbeiten möglich.
Im ersten Arbeitsschritt entsorgte ich die ganze Elektronik und die von mir angebrachte Kuperfolienabschirmung. Nach einem Tag war die Abschirmfarbe vollständig getrocknet und der Einbau des ST 7 verlief ohne Komplikationen.

Nun habe ich eine neue Gitarre. Ich kann das ST 7 rundweg empfehlen.
Ich würde heute immer das ST 7 dem ST 5 vorziehen. Die erweiterten Klangmöglichkeiten durch den 7-Wege-Schalter sind beeindruckend.
