I tested with Pro Tools and Cubase once and there were obviously problems with proper controller synchronization, but last year I switched to Studio One and the controller I had was not working properly (Euphonix), so I sold it and worked with a mouse for a few months. However, it wasn't the most convenient solution, so I went back to thinking about faders.
After updating to the latest firmware, I must say that the Faderport 8 surprised me a lot. Although the faders are not the quietest, the necessary functions are on top and allow for great integration with the program. There are things to get used to (one pan pot or arming the recording on the track on the left panel), but overall the device works great.
An additional advantage is the ability to control plugins, which is natively built into Studio One, and thus - the Faderport series. Not all plugins are conveniently used on default presets (FabFilter plugins have too many functions and with 8 sliders you have to switch parameter pages a lot, so I'd rather choose Faderport 16), but with most manufacturers you can work very comfortably.
I definitely recommend it to Studio One users!
