I have had this case now for two years. Its done multiple gigs and is showing no signs of wear and tear. The padding inside is more than sufficient to keep both instruments (and four mouthpieces) safe and sound.
I have recently bought the Backpack straps that are, in my opinion, an essential rather than an optional accessory, (hence the 4* rating for handling)
Since I purchased the backpack straps the case has become even better as the weight is balanced carried across my back and not slung over one shoulder. The outside pocket is great for music and everything else we as brass players carry about with us, but also adds to the weight.........hence the requirement for the backpack straps!
Overall I cannot fault this case and have recently purchased a Protec Double Trumpet case as well. Granted Protec cases are not cheap, but you get what you pay for and in my opinion well worth the money.
I really liked, very high-quality case, it is convenient to store and transport 2 tools, no need to worry, as if not to damage the tools - the dense case is strong material.
But there is a small, but still a drawback - a slightly heavy case, especially when you have to carry 2 tools.
for buying I advise for musicians who often go on tour with bands !!!
the two great things about this case are the durability and toughness. It totally protects the musical instruments and is lightweight enough to carry.
the other big plus is that this case fits exactly into the dimensions required for carry-on cabin luggage.
I've had this case for a couple of years now and it has been just brilliant. The thing oozes quality being strong, robust and very well made. My Yamaha Flugel and Trumpet fit into it perfectly and I always feel confident that my instruments are very well protected in this case. Couldn't rate it highly enough.
This case is certainly bang for the buck. Quality is top notch, and no parts have come apart. The main compartment is large enough for most flugelhorns and I actually securely fit one mute (wah) in there too. The case is relatively heavy, but the wide shoulder strap makes it bearable. For more mobile people though, I would suggest separate backbag style straps.
Bought it three years ago. It has been used with intensity, traveling and playing, and it's still in perfect condition.
I always pack a trumpet, a flugel, music papers, a tablet, valve oil and other accessories. It gets heavy, but also very practical.
5/5 in every way.
A very robust and well made case. My fairly large Kanstul Flugel fits well and I have tried a few different trumpets which all fitted well in the trumpet section. I feel confident that my instruments are well protected in this case. I also bought the backpack straps which work well with it, which is good as its pretty heavy when loaded! The side pocket on the outside is great for all your bits and pieces, it also has some small mesh pockets for small stuff. Four mouthpiece holders in the main compartment is also very useful.
It is a very robust case, but you need to have in mind that is heavy because of it. At the same time it is bigger than other 3 trumpets options but your instruments are more safe in this one.
