As every classical guitarist well knows, there is a bit of a holy grail search for the ultimate set of strings. I feel i've tried more than my fair share of strings from natural gut strings to sterling silver basses. I came across these on Thomann and figured I would try a set.....lets face it they are cheap so I didn't expect much.
What I found was a nicely balanced set of strings that hold their tuning and intonation across the range. I put a set on my guitar beginning of January and reckon I won't change them until beginning of March. So i reckon you can easily get a good optimum sound and playability out of these. You could leave them on much longer if you so wished but most classical guitarists change their strings about every 2-3 months, professional classical guitarists change even more frequently!
Top tip, bulk buy these strings, get a pool of guitarists and you'll make a massive saving. Don't be fooled by more expensive strings, sometimes less truly is more ;-)
