Raw Vintage Spring Set

High quality springs which I have used in a few of my strats now to replace existing stock

Perfect springs if you want to deck your strat trem but still be able to use your whammy. Using 5 springs to deck the bridge. The stock fender Springs are a bit too rigid if you want 5 springs and still want to use the whammy.

I bought this set for my strat cause I wanna use 5 springs and handle the tremolo arm. The stock fender springs are too stiff.
I did not notice any change in the sound.

I was delaying the replacement but I wish I had done it sooner! The springs are noticeably softer than Fender and ABM ones. I don't like the floating tremolo style, so I use it decked. Using these springs, it's very smooth to use the tremolo even in the decked setting. I would certainly buy these again if I had another Strat.

I have tried these springs with my ABM 5050-S Vintage Tremolo.
Indeed the tension is lower than the ABM springs and yes they do sound different, softer / warmer maybe?
In the end I preferred the original ABM springs.

They change tone... in my case they made my slightly to mellow/warm strat even mellower, almost muddy, Nothing to complain about quality, they are softer steel than usual fender springs, so you need to use more of them, in my case all 5. They can be great if you need to tame harshness/brittleness or slightly soften attack, In my case I tried them and went back to original Fender springs.

I replaced the springs in my strat, I noticed no tone improvement as the manufacturer claims. They're just your average spring.

I was on the verge of sending these back, until I "accidentally" did a double-blind test to prove that I couldn't tell the difference. I realized I had my headphones reversed and had actually chosen the "after" recordings as sounding better. Subtle difference from stock, but an improvement.

Put them on a Classic Players Strat, now I really like the floating tremolo, worth the price !
