Hi,
just received my wallmounts (2).
One of them 100% used. Bent screw, full of dust. Other one a little bit damaged.
They offered my 10 euros back for both of them. Is that a joke?!
Unbelievable. Tottaly dissapointed!
I added these monitor shelves to spread my audio a little out from my work station. The mounts are well built and solid. The only negative thing I can say is the threads are a little tight and you need to be careful not to strip the threads. The front knob to raise up the shelf is also a little tight but it does work.
The installation went great and I would suggest using washers with the screws and anchors. Second, leveling is important when marking the holes to drill in the anchors (Not Provided). However, once properly secured to the wall they seem really sturdy and secure. I have M-Audio AV40 on them for now with a couple PC Speakers on top and I plan to go one step larger in the future. These are definitely worth the price for speaker mounts. They can hold a speakers WxD 25x25 from what I can see.
Let's start that I find it appaling that this does not come with any screws. This is a heavy duty stand and it should come with at least the screws that secure the plate to the stand as these are pretty vital to the sturdiness and balance of the speaker.
Upon installation, I realized that one of these plates (this is the metal sheet that the speaker sits on) does sit at a slight angle to the supporting beam. This means that when the monitor is placed on it, it is slightly askew and this feels me with enormous anxiety that the weight of the speaker being unbalanced will snap the screws that support the plate.
So if that happens who should I hold accountable for a destroyed speaker?
