When considering claves, for what the product is, one does not need to consider spending too much money on two blocks of wood, but that does not mean one should under estimate the variation of quality of claves. I was told these claves were made out of wood now protected, and you can hear that, it is a beautifully sweet rich and dark tone that does not sound cheap. These are the only claves you should consider buying.

These are the best Claves that you are going to find both in terms of money and quality. I purchased a couple of different ones from Thomann to compare them but I ended up keeping this one and returning the other ones.
