Hi
I did a fair amount of research before purchasing this pick up and I must say I have been extremely pleased with the quality of the sound. I have used it on many occasions during live gigs and several other people have commented on the high quality of the sound. Even at quite loud volumes through a 100w acoustic amp, I have experienced few problems with feedback. I have used it on two of my guitars and don't find it intrusive whilst playing. The battery life is very good. The volume wheel it easy to adjust. My only slight niggle is that I found the tightening screws not to be that strong and had to replace one from the local DIY shop and is now fine. I find it best if you attach the arms underneath the sound hole so that they tighten inwards, not towards the sound hole itself. It attaches more securely this way. On hearing how good it sounds, a friend of mine also bought one and has been very pleased with it. It doesn't pick up much percussive sound from tapping on the guitar body so if you are into playing in that style, it wouldn't be a good choice, if however you are looking for a very clean acoustic sound it is a very good choice. I must admit that the first one I purchased developed a major fault which Thoman replaced very quickly at their cost with a brand new one and I haven't had any problems since. The replacement service was impeccable with Thoman providing the postage slip and covering all the postage costs. This is genuine feedback from someone with genuine experience of this product. All the best. Andy Hill.
