The sound is satisfactory. It's full and rounded for such a compact package The highs are very pronounced, the bass is very nice for its size. There's a missing of the upper mids and that's the only con regarding the sound. I believe the spl is sufficient for most small setups, even outdoors.

The app is good with many options for EQ-ing and mixing but it could be better and even more intuitive. I find the pole/monitor postition feature excessive but the sub is ok because of the bass cutoff.

Efx are plenty and of good quality. The classical guitar (Godin multiac) i've connected sounded better defined than on the Bose S1 original to my ears. Haven't tried it on vocals. An integrated looper would be nice. Still it's a great package for the money.
