A real instrument, not a toy

Bought this for my 6 year old daughter, as she wanted to play the guitar. I've looked my local shops for a 1/2 guitar but was really disappointed with the quality, so decided to go for this one considering good ratings, and was not expecting much. When I've put my hands on this one I knew it was a good choice.

Pros:
- it's an actual instrument which you can play, it's not a toy
- finish in my piece was flawless, not sharp edges, no cracks on the paint
- the guitar looks and feels really nice which is really important when it comes to kids and their motivation to learn how to play

Cons:
- make sure you put fresh strings on it, as the stock ones are not so good,
- Only thing I wish it had is the truss rod, but hey... it's a 40 Eur guitar, so you can't have everything.

And few words about Thomann, well, they are second to none, top class, great contact, and great people around there. The shipment was well secured as always. Definitely my "go-to" music store.

Great for the money

Purchased this for my 5 year old daughter for a Christmas present and had a little play on it myself before wrapping it up!

Pros
Good fretwork with no sharp edges.
Construction seems solid
Nice rounded sound
Easy on the fingers for a first guitar

Cons
Several blemishes and some light scratching in the finish

Overall, an absolute bargain for the money. If it were a more expensive guitar, I'd probably return it due to the low quality finish, but given the incredibly low cost, it's not really a problem.

If my daughter doesn't stick to learning the guitar, I can see myself chucking this in the car as a travel guitar when I go on holidays!

It sounds incredible for its size and price. Good craftmanship. Needs tuning almost every single time before playing.

pretty well made instrument

Bought this for my 5 year old son. I am a classical guitar teacher myself and for this price I did not expect much. But it is an amazing for the price guitar.

Be sure to buy some nice quality strings with it if you want it to intonate because the strings it has when it comes are a bit cheap. I knew that so I bought the cheapest hannabach strings and the guitar sounds very well and even grown ups can actually play it for a travel guitar.

Overall amazing price/quality instrument. Totally recommended. Well done to Thomann.
