I'm using the FlyRig for amplified harmonica playing, together with a Bulletini mic.

I am not using the plexi part of the unit, as the sound is very distorted. I assume it is more suitable to for Rock/Metal guitarists.

I am a bit unsure about the sound of the speaker simulation, right now I am not using it. It also is not present on the XLR output, so if you plan to hook up the FlyRig to a PA, better get used to the sound without the speaker simulation.

I could not really believe it was true after I received my Fly Rig 5. Previously used other pre amps but was going to go back to a Marshall head when I thought I give this a try. Straight out to the PA sounds like a Marshall and it is a joy to record with the Fly Rig. Now I know what I will use on tour and it can go with me ANYWHERE.
