I'm using this on my desk in a big, untreated room with lots of hard edges.
I record spoken word, close to the diaphragm.
No singing.
I can attest to room reverberations being markedly attenuated when recording with this screen in place. It is a little fiddly to set up and could do with a few more options to tilt and lift the mic to a more ideal position, perhaps; but once I found my sweet spot, it also disciplines me to remain there.
It may be more "portable" than some of its competition with the semi-circle harmonica setup, but it's still a hefty little base plate that I personally wouldn't want to lug around too much.
It's a great little helper for intimate vocals in a difficult room. It's not a vocal booth.
