While rebuilding my studio after an extension and having bought the ProducerRTA studio desk I wanted something to create light for the racks at either side of the desk... and this light is exactly right for that purpose.

It mounted in my case at the top of the area I wanted to use it, easily and without any aggravation involved.

What I like is the multiplicity of colors that you can simply cycle around with one button to create a nice ambience to the equipment, but also the simple way that this unit can be turned on or off with one button too.

Quality was fine and for the price this is a great unit if you want that sort of thing. My YouTube channel shows the ProducerRTA being built and fitted with these lights here: that's a video of the whole setup with many Thomann components being used. A later 'tour of the studio gets all these products in to perspective here: videos are long... but they show most of the Thomann gear I bought in use and with the tour these specific lights are exampled.

Recommended rack lights and great value.

Have a couple of these in three different SKB 6U racks, all for patching (stageboxes and split). Switches on the sides for intensity and colour selection should be easy to get to even with racks that has the rack rods deeper than the SKB's. Bright enough for stagework and easy to switch between white for setup/patching and lower purple or whatever suits the stage during the show

The one drawback. The button you use to adjust the brightness is also your power switch, if you don't want to turn off your entire rack, pressing and holding the button will turn off the light, but first it has to cycle the brightness just once, so every time I turn it off and on again, my brightness has changed.
