I was looking for a cheap and effective guitar multi-effects device. Valeton GP-200 met my requirements. It has a rich set of emulators (both with distortion and clean) and good-sounding simulations of speakers and guitar amplifiers.
Upon closer acquaintance with the device, it can be concluded that with the appropriate setting of the tone, gain and volume knobs on the same loudspeaker, all emulated amplifiers can be reduced in terms of sound to the MESSA Boogie head.
However, if you keep the factory settings and use the speakers, the differences in sound are already noticeable. In general, the sound quality is really good and satisfactory. The only inconvenience is that we only have one microphone position emulated. However, this can be bypassed by using IR.
Overall, however, I am very pleased with this purchase and I can recommend the Valeton GP-200. It has a powerful sound, good selectivity and a large number of outputs. It also has a looper, which can be useful, especially since it allows recordings of up to 3 minutes.
