Vandoren Classic Blue Bb-Clarinet 3.5

Compare the all Vandoren type of reeds, this is still the most cleaner and most beautiful sound for clarinet but...

While from the V12 box or from the 56 box plays lot of reeds, when I open the Blue Box - two or three from ten reeds plays as reeds should play, other 2 plays - but not well, the rest 4 or 5 flying straightly to recycle bin..

This is the reality and no reed adjustment ever can make a good reed from those bad ones.

Very good for thin reeds. Best not used with reed reeds. Resin synthetic material will vibrate better!

Still the best reeds for me. Great response, nice sound (Not too dark, not too light; just the right for me). The only minus is their inconsistency and the boxes where you barely find any playable reeds...

I purchased a box of these having tried the v56 (which I didn't like) and found them to be of the quality that used to be the vandoren reeds of old. I used to always use a 3 I. Strength but over the last few years the 3's have always been too soft! 3.5 is just perfect.
