Hello there,
First of all, I should start with how long I have been using Chicken Picks.
I used to work in the musical instruments industry and also been a proud reseller of Chicken Picks in Turkey. I met the brand 7 years ago from today by an accident and never been able to use any other picks.
So you can take my review as one of the longest-term reviews of this wonderful guitar picks online. You can also Google my nickname and see my music stuff exclusively made with Chicken Picks :) (Can't share links here, sorry)
I have owned and used 7 models since 2013 and my favourite ones were always Shredder and Badazz 2.5.
I always switched between Shredder as it's the thickest and heaviest one and Badazz 2.5 as it's being still very thick but smaller (just like Jazz III picks).
Chicken Picks has made a great decision to expand their product options and recently released 3.2mm version of Badazz!
I immediately jumped on that and I must say it's the best model ever for me!
You can easily hear the power of the thickness while being able to maintain it between your fingers.
If you ever think these picks are expensive, think again! A cheap, disposable guitar picks are easily worn out and if you always want to have the same playing sensation, you will need to renew them.
But with Chicken Picks, it's never an issue. You can use them almost up to a year and they will maintain their form, tone and timbre for a long long time!
Therefore it makes it a really cheap pick in the long run. It's made of a thermoset material which is pressurized and solidified under pressure and heat. This gives Chicken Picks a very unique tone that you would never be able to experience with any other pick!
