I use Daddario NYXL sets almost exclusively nowadays since I like how they stay fresh for a very long time, stay in tune perfectly and I also enjoy the crispy tone of these strings. I use this particular set, NYXL09564SB, with a multiscale 25.5" - 26.5" 7 string guitar and this set is very well balanced for standard or drop tunings.
I got this set for my Schecter Hellraiser PT-7 which has a 26.5-inch scale. I think this may be an ideal set of string for this scale at standard tuning. I also really like how it sounds, pretty bright and dynamic. It holds these characteristics for some time. However, I am not able to comprehend the pricing.
According to the product description, this has been made for Strandberg guitars specifically, however, I think it's way too expensive still. I think it should be around the 10-12€ range. At the end of the day, you shouldn't expect a life span of coated strings. So you would have to change them often if you want that snappy, bright attack characteristics.
Almost 19€ for this? That's why I am giving 4 stars. On the other hand, it's still the best set for my guitar at standard tuning. So I sometimes buy this along with other strings. One last note about the low E string. I think it sounds a bit lose on open low E, so don't think you can down tune to anything, even flat...I think low E should be a bit thicker in gauge, but this is how they had designed it in the first place.

I used elixir 10 years at least, and i thought i was doomed to these strings for life as i do sweat a lot and i couldnt afford changing strings 3 in 3 days. bought a strandberg and tried these strings that came and i absolutely loved them, the sound the feel and the outstanding tuning stability they had. the thing i liked most is definitely the tension in my strand 7: its heaven, i never tried anything like this before and makes my playing so much more precise/accurate, the regulated tension in the strands with these strings is amazing really. I was afraid they wouldnt stand 3 days in my hands but they kept a month until they started getting dull and dark, with regular playing, so they dont keep up as much as the elixirs, but enough for me.
to finish: these are really amazing strings and now i cant use anything else with any other tension. absolutely recommend

they're the strings that you get on a new Strandberg guitar from the manufacturer. which is great.
they bring a wonderful sense of "unity in tension" from string to string, are very stable at keeping in tune, and provide plenty of attack, and an even tone across all strings, all frets.
so why the stars missing, then?
because durability, in terms of tone, doesn't match my standard, and not even half of it (Elixir Nanoweb) – it's my first remark.
and, second, when playing clean and very quiet, mechanical noise of the left-hand fingering is quite high, actually a lot higher than my standard again (Elixir Nanoweb).
i'm aware that Strandberg guitars are specifically aimed to guitarists who love to drench their tone in distortion, so it's surely just myself to not fit the users' pattern with which this kit is sized and boxed specifically for Strandbergs... so this means you'll (most likely) fall in love with them, if you're that kind, instead.
to me, the bargain between even tension (on this specific 7 string multiscale guitar) against loss of durability and silence of left-hand fingering isn't exactly rewarding, so i'll most likely get back to Elixir Nanowebs, despite the technical prowess of these strings (made with clearly a different type of user in mind).
