The amount of EUR you have to spend on it vs sound quality it offers makes it an obvious decision. It's got really rich, beautiful character. It could be considered as a tad more noisy than top grade mastering equipment, but, frankly, I consider it a part of its charm and character and I don't mind it.
Don't get me wrong - it's not like there's a lot of noise out there. The noise floor is rather low, but still audible. This is probably the only thing that could make some people think twice before buying it.
