Great for beginners.

The bass guitar itself is really well made, for its price. When I first got it out of the box it was pretty much ready to play. It’s very comfortable and doesn’t weigh much, though there is a little bit of neck-dive. The guitar’s finish is pretty, though the neck seems to be not painted at all.

As for the amp, it’s a really nice addition to the bass. 15 watts is enough for home practice, especially when you live in an apartment. It’s not that great when you decide to play it with a band, especially with an energetic drummer - the sound of your bass will definitely get lost between all the other instruments.

The gigbag you get with this bundle is a really cool addition as well, it’s enough to carry the bass around for rehearsals and even smaller gigs. It also has a smaller pouch on the side, you can easily fit a few sets of cables inside.

If you’re starting out as a bass player, you should consider getting this bundle. The overall quality of the stuff you get is really nice, and it isn’t pricy at all.

Agréable surprise...

Kit acheté comme équipement d'appoint pour les vacances... Et finalement, ce n'est pas mal du tout pour le prix.
La basse est une très bonne surprise. Après un petit réglage (clés fournies), elle est très agréable à jouer. Les frettes sont bien ajustées, la finition est tout à fait correcte, le sustain est bon, les boutons réagissent bien... Bref, je n'ai pas grand chose à dire pour le prix. Ce n'est pas au niveau de ma Fender Aerodyne japonaise, mais je prends du plaisir à jouer avec.
L'ampli n'est par contre pas super. J'avais un Rumble 25 que je trouvais bien équilibré avec de bonnes basses, mais le rumble 15 est vraiment faible et fait un peu jouet.
Globalement ce kit est un bon achat pour un joueur débutant ou pour équiper une résidence secondaire prête à accueillir un bassiste en manque. N'espérez pas jouer dans une petite formation avec un tel ampli.
