Gewa Tablas

The Gewa Tablas are actually a beginners pair. The sound quality is poor and the treble drum (Dayan ; smaller and usually the right for a right hand player) is poor. The playing service is of poor quality (the Pudi). The breadth of the Chat (outer annular membrane) & Bharti (inner annular ring) of the playing service is not of a constant dimension and hence the treble drum sound between the "Na" and "Tins" are not consistent. The Bayaan {usually the left ; if a right hand player; steel bass drum) is quite a low quality and as such the depth that one expects when playing is not to a great satisfaction. The Tasma ( raw hide strap on the drum) are narrow in breadth and not of consistent thickness (thin and frail). The Gajra (Braid) is not wrapped to the same thickness.
This Tabla is not for use in concert or used in professional playing. However for beginners it is ok.
What I liked is the size of the Dayan (diameter) and hence the pitch of the tabla. If you are looking for a beginners table, then I would recommend it for practicing and to help in "polishing your hand."

Nicht umsonst lernen die Meister dieses Instrument von Kindesbeinen an. E ist nicht zu vergleichen mit herkömmlichen Handtrommeln, dazu it die pieltechnik einfach zu unterschiedlich.

Mit diesem Vorurteil kaufte ich das Set und wurde bestätigt. Man braucht eine Weile bis man die beiden Trommeln aufeinander abgestimmt hat, woran sicherlich die traditionelle Stimmmechanik ihren Anteil hat. timmen mit einem Hammer ... nun gut. Nachdem mir das gelungen war, begann ich mit Hilfe von YouTube und den dort vorhandenen Videos die Schlagtechniken zu üben ... sieh an, das ging ganz flott.

Ein gutes Koordinationsvermögen der Finger ist dabei hilfreich ... Aber genug von meinem persönlichen Einstieg ( Di Na Di Di Na ... ;-) Das Instrument ... die Verarbeitung ist ok, Fehler sind mir nicht aufgefallen, das Holz ist klanglich gut geeignet, die Felle traditionell mit Teerschicht. Was allerdings fehlt, sind Stimmhölzer ür die Tiefe der beiden Trommeln. Ich mußte mir erst Rundhölzer aus dem Baumakt zurechtsägen und einfädeln, dann ging auch das timmen dieser Trommel problemlos.

Für das Geld ein ordentliches Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ... also übe ich jetzt Tablas und empfehle dieses Set jedem, der auch einsteigen möchte.

Instrumento para aprender desde cero. Está bien para hacerse con el tacto de la piel y dar las priemras lecciones.
El sonido es algo seco aunque es normal también cuando uno comienza a estudiar el instrumento.
Creo que la relación calidad precio es buena ya que como principiante necesitas tiempo para sentir el instrumento y después acceder a otros de más alta calidad y por consiguiente un precio mayor.
