I have given it 5 stars and yes, that is a bit extreme because there are better guitars. But for the price... It is an excellent no-nonsense rock machine that can easily compete with guitars 3 times as expensive. I did lower the action a bit (not because it was high, but simply because it was possible to get it very low. I love this guitar. I have other much more expensive guitars as well but this one I dare to take with me into dark alleys and throw into the trunk of an old Ford without worrying about me myself being scarred for life due to breaking or losing the irreplaceable ones.

Hands down, It's a winner!

Very clean solid tones a Gretsch should have and for the price, its a sweet deal!
The P90 is simply sweet! Solid tones with great sustain. Goes really well with the Broad Tron BT-2S bridge humbucker. Real fun to play clean, classic rock, blues & jazz.
Sometimes i do mute the strings my mistake as its a wrap around bridge/saddle but mainly its because i need to get used to it. Perhaps i might slap on a bigsby b5 someday who knows, but not any time soon. The finish blew me away. Its a keeper.

A nice piece of Gretsch

This is an excellent value for the money guitar and you get the looks for free ;-) I'm very happy with the sound, the P-90 produces a killer tone, in fact both pickups are producing a high output which you usually expect from more expensive guitars. This guitar can be used for country, rock, blues, etc... from the very twangy tele-sound to real humbucking rock.
Don't think too long, just add it to your collection :-)

One of the best guitars in the price range

I was looking for a guitar with a p90 on the neck position. I was searching all possible options, and in the end, I decided to have this beautiful guitar. Straight out of the box no mistakes or sharp edges, everything is ok with the guitar, sounds great. I like the punchy p90 sound on the neck. The bridge pickup is also very nice, I generally play on the neck position.

Only the string height was more than 2 cm, with a small adjustment I corrected. Tuning stability is also ok, I am thinking of changing the tuners that is all I can say about this guitar. Really nice insturment feels very premium In my opinion. Neck is like Gibson necks not very thin not very chunky somewhere in between.
