When I first saw an anniversary model on Thomann I immediately clicked buy button. It's mine 5th HB guitar (dispite all others like Ibanez Prestige, Jacksons, some lithiers ones etc.), and I have a feeling that with time these guitars are getting better and better.
From all bought previously I keep now only my first Fusion (from first sereis, shame on me that I've sold SC550II which was incredible) and I could not resist to check how this guitar will sound with Tesla pickups which I personaly like, and anniversary version.
Guitar as usual arrived well packed, what was surpsising it came not in gigbag, but in carton box with gigbag separately.
Gigbag itself is not top notch (smells little), but surely makes it's job, with neck support and additional reinforcements.
Guitar itself is astonishing - fabulous fretwork, after some little adjustments I was easily able to get 1,2mm action on 12th fret without any fret buzz, and pickups, which honestly surprised me. I'm used to have slightly overwound single pickups in all of my guitars, and these mounted in anniversary model, beying very classic sounding, gave me an absolutely new sound opportunities. From cleans to fantastic overdrives it sounds fanntastic, but we need to say openly - it's not a guitar for havy distortion sounds.
Everything seems fine, not only in this price range, only little issue with mine one was 3 little dots on paint - 2 in front, one rear, nothing serious, but worth mentioning.
Not the first, surely not last buy from Thomann and HB.
