This is a wonderful case for my Descant and Tenor Recorders. With a solid body and nice velvet padded inside, it holds the instruments snuggly and safely whilst on the move.
Its really nice not to have to carry an extra case for the Descant.
This case is only marginally larger than the one my Mollenhauer Tenor Recorder came in and to my mind is built to the same high standard that one is.
My Tenor is a comfort Tenor, with 2 extra keys on the main body and a brass thumb rest on the back, and it fits perfectly into the Kariso case. They appear to have created a small cavity for the thumb rest, and then the body is in position, the keys are not trapped or pressured by the case in any way.
The foot joint space has room for the 2 keys on the base of my Tenor as well, so there is no concern over this.
The Descant space is 2 slots, one for the head and one for the body. My Descant fits perfectly, but if you have a 3 piece Descant the foot joint would need to be left on the body when in the case.
The only niggle I have with the case, is that when loaded it won't stand on its hinged side, without falling over. The lid could do with a little more weight to counter the recorders.
All in all an excellent product at a reasonable price.
