Been looking for a stage monitor to replace using my Bose S1 as I wanted a bit more body to the sound. This is the second monitor I've tried and returned, but I felt with how heavy and awkward this was to get and return that it deserved a rating.
This is a very heavy wedge, you'll be carrying this with 2 hands and the handles aren't very good. You can't get your hand 'through' so you're basically lifting it with your fingers awkwardly.
As far as features goes, it seems solid. Nice simple interface with only one control knob/button. 2 inputs is nice also, if you're in need of that.
Most importantly though, this speaker is massively underpowered. I mean, I had to absolutely crank the master bus fader to actually get a usable volume. This was all with the volume on the speaker set to max (which I avoided doing initially).
I guess the speaker is designed to chain with other wedges, but with the sheer size and weight of these speakers it's simply not worth it.
Simply cannot recommend this for a portable wedge for anyone. The Bose S1 is still surpassing it.
