I bought the strap for a resonator guitar, but am using it with my Baton Rouge AR31C/ACE steel string guitar (item n. 462642). Its pickup output at the bottom doesn't fit the strap's end piece, so I fitted a MusicNomad MN270 Acousti-Lok strap lock adaptor (item n. 470773). This creates a snug fit for the end piece. The strap's other end threads under the strings above the nut. The rest of the strap slips through the loop, ready pop over the MusicNomad strap lock adaptor. It feels secure; to be safe I placed a lock and lock wheel from Schaller S-Locks M CH (item n. 438346) on the end piece. The lock snaps on the the MusicNomad strap lock adaptor.
The strap's end piece is about 4 mm thick, which could impede cheaper options of securing it to a guitar's belt pin—see Harley Benton StrapMaster Pack1 (item n. 504686).
I didn't want to risk damaging my acoustic guitar by drilling a hole for the upper belt-pin, so this strap was a good solution. Its natural materials (cotton strap and leather end-pieces) are comfy. It's perfect for guitars with only one belt pin (e.g., resonators).
