Using thinner core wires and stronger pure nickel round wound these strings have a slightly weaker tension. The result is a great feeling and perfectly balanced strings with remarkable tone and timbre. The single strings are refined at the ball with coloured artificial silk.

Very dull sound. So dull that I decided to swap them after 15 minutes. They were getting on my nerves. And please mind - I know "nickels" are supposed to sound mellow. I swapped them with pure nickels by daddario and there is world of difference.

Great strings

These are a great set of strings by an underrated manufacturer. Having tried their flatwounds and been consistently impressed (I think they're the best flatwounds on the market today in fact), I mounted these roundwounds on my Fender Esquire. The sound is as crisp and sharp as I had been seeking, important when you have only one pickup to play with, and the string life is up there with the best of them. Highly recommended.
