Bought it recently to improve on my old 61key synth, and to have a decent keyboard for me and my kids to practice.
Very nice piano sound, very detailed and nuanced.
Lot's of different and useful other sounds, especially if you use the mobile app and have access to the full GM2 patch bank. Bluetooth features very useful.
Action feels good, responsive and rather realistic, but it feels sometimes a bit sluggish in fast key repetition. Sometimes I can hear the infamous "clicking" key problem, in some keys, but it is not annoying and there are some youtube videos that can allegedly help you fix this. I haven't tried it yet since it is not needed in my opinion. The "clicking" happens only on some keys and only sparsely. I am monitoring it though, and if it gets worse after some time, I will update my review.
I have to mention that initially I had a quality problem with a defective keybed, but Thomann after sales support and service were excellent and they immediately replaced the defective instrument with a new one. Therefore I rate only 3 stars for the quality control from Roland. Otherwise it is very well built.
All in all I am very happy with my Roland FP-30x. At the time of my purchase it was still not released, but I would also consider the Roland FP-E50 for the extra features.
