1) shape does not fit the neck profile
2) locking mechanism is completely unreliable
3) removing the capo to simplify restrings i possible without tools
4) needs excessive pressure to stop the strings rattling
In summary, this is easily the worst capo I have ever wasted money on. I have returned to using an old Paige capo of the same style, which fits the neck profile, is easy to put on and take off, works with minimal screw pressure - and most importantly, it doesn’t mark the neck (unlike this appalling Taylor-branded piece of garbage).
Wish I could add photos to show a comparision of how dreadful this Taylor capo is on a Taylor guitar.
