Good case, with a few flaws

A good value 2u case
It is somewhat oversize, both width and height. I can see the reason for the width, it is to accomodate the catches before the rack strip starts (the rack strip cant sit flat as the catch protrudes on the inside of the case)
I cant see why it would be built too big vertically, it is nearly 3U

The catches are not as strong as they look and I wish it had rack strip on the rear face as well

What is a shame is the huge THON plate riveted onto the front lid, you cant see this in the photos but it is most defintiely there. It would be great if my company name was THON, unfortunately it isn't

Good overall though and I am just about to buy another couple

This flight case is sturdy and durable like thon cases usually are. It's quite light which is nice, but it does lack padding on the inside so I wouldn't necessarily trust it in the hands of airport's luggage handlers. Especially with more delicate devices. There's around 1 cm of space above and beneath a 2 unit amp, so a little custom padding isn't hard to do if needed.

The 40cm depth is plenty enough for most amps. It still leaves space for the cables and maybe even a pedal or two. Excellent price to protection ratio.
