This would have been my ideal beginner amp : simple, analog, sixties clean sound and enough dirt as well. Very beautifull. And for the price of a cheaper pedal !
For my use now :
The clean is really good : chimey, as clean or sparkly as you want, clear. It doesn't sound 'transistor'. It is good on its own. And it takes pedals very well. I will use this for recording chimey sounds. Takes fuzz (tonebender) very well !
The dirt is more specific : I would use it for specific sounds for recording. Very dirty fuzzy , harsh sounds, lofi dirt, etc. It is not an all round dirt channel. I like it, but for specific use. It gets harsh easily which is a cool and nice sound on its own. But for an al round dirt sound for not -beginners, I would not recommend it.
Conclusion; I am very pleased with this cheap real Vox amp with beautifull cleans and experimental dirt. For Vox sound loving beginners with low budget, this is a must. For others if you don't have too high demands for the dirt channel for this price and you like fuzzy, fizzy dirt. Also.
If Pathfinder 15 would exist again, It would be great. Still cheap but I think the dirt channel would have more body in the sound.
