First rate but wrong product

I bought these pads to replace my age old originals. They are very expensive items but eventually over a couple of years usage, they will show their age.
Sadly, Thomann sent me the K701 pads which aren't the correct colour. They are a silver grey whereas K702 are a dark pad.
I just coudnt bear to send back to Germany and wait for the turnaround as my deadlines are tight. Im sure had i asked, Thomann would have sent me a complimentary set to cover the inconvenience caused. I didnt go through the long winded customer support process, so we shall never know.

They are very easy to fit. They will make the product feel like new. Be aware that over time, the cups create a shape to your ear, so a new set might take a little time to make this shape and subsequently mixes may seem slightly "off" compared to when you had them at there sweet spot

Ok, obviously an exaggeration, but after ten years of use my AKG-702s could easily qualify as a torture instrument under the Geneva convention. Now I can put them on again without dread!

High quality product

I bought this product to replace the old ear-pads on my AKG-k702 headphones as they have become quite worn out over many years of use.

The product is high quality and fits my headphones exactly.

Delivery time was good and packaging was well done.

My only complaint is that I have had to order a second one as it wasn't initially clear that this product only includes one ear-pad and not a pair.

Aside from this I am quite pleased with the product and look forward to having a fresh pair of pads for my earphones when the second order is confirmed.
