Really useful if you're spending multiple hours with your headphones on

I'm spending multiple hours a day with headphones on. And my experience with the usual pleather pads of various headphones is that it gets tiring after several hours. I also don't appreciate aging pleather pads dusting pieces all over my ears.

So I've upgraded my DT770 from their stock pleather pads to the velour ones. They are extremely comfortable, and I can easily go for hours without any fatigue or discomfort.

Nice and comfy

I bought these to replace the stock pads on my AKG 240 Studios. I opted for these as I had read that they should work and they seemed a little thicker than the AKG ones.
They do indeed fit and the headphones now feels a little more spacious and comfortable. I like the velvet finish more than pleather.
Some people have stated that they think that the sound changed compared to when having the stock pads on but I cannot say that I really noticed much difference. I even tried when I first had only replaced one pad to compare them against each other. Your experience might differ of course.

Anyway, I'm happy with the product and would recommend them for both AKG 240s and the intended Bayerdynamic phones.

Excellent for Custom One Pro

Sound:
These essentially fixed everything that I found out being wrong with sound of the headphones. I felt like the sound was a bit too closed off and bass was a bit too harsh. Changing these pads opened up the soundstage and gave more natural bass and I could open up one more "ticks" to gain good balance.

Comfortablity:
These are really comfortable and make the headphones feel much lighter in terms of pressure and overall weight.
